The design of scenarios, and thus the setting of experiments, is the main focus of the design and innovation research carried out by lifeClipper2. Scenario design makes the interdisciplinary approach of design research apparent: scenarios are spelled out in the shared language of experience. In exploring different scenarios, the tasks and backgrounds of the various disciplines involved in this project overlap. The selected scenarios – visualisations of archaeological knowledge (“Archaeology”), projects of urban planning (“Archiviz”), and experiments with perception (“Playground”) – bring together the different demands of content development, design and technology.
