lifeClipper2 uses an IntertiaCube3 with an angel resolution of 0.1° as an orientation sensor. As a position sensor, a Leica GPS1200 with exactitude of up to 1cm is used. A VRPN interface between position/orientation sensor and level of presentation enables the extension of lifeClipper2 to a hybrid tracking system. The transmitted GPS coordinates are converted into the basic coordinate system of lifeClipper2 (based on data of the town model).
